Effective Herbs For Lumbago Treatment
A great remedy for easing lower back pain or lumbago is Devil’s claw. This plant grows in southern Africa and has active ingredients like harpagosides that aids in the reducing pain. It has anti-inflammatory properties that helps to lower pain in the back. The herb is applied as a paste on the back.
Basil is a very well known herb with various medicinal properties. It works on the bones and the muscles by reducing inflammation and provides faster healing. Prepare a concoction by boiling about ten basil leaves in one cup full of water, reduce it to half of its original volume and then mix ¼ teaspoon of normal sea salt.

Cramp Bark and Black Haw
These are great home remedies for back pains including arthritis, muscle spasm and menstrual cramps. Rich in esouletin and scopoletin (muscle tension relieving compounds) they cure spasmodic pain of muscles completely. Both of these herbs have antispasmodic volatile oils that aid in muscle pain.
It is a well known anti inflammatory herb that is highly supplied with camosol (shows anti inflammatory effects as aspirins and steroids), oleanolic acid, anti-arthritic ursolic acid and inflammation suppressant rosmarinic acid. Ginger (Zingiber officinale)

White Willow Bark
