Use Lemon For Freckles
Lemon contains vitamin C and citric acid. Both these are good agents to lighten the skin. You need to use fresh lemons and not the concentrates bought in superstores. Cut a lemon and squeeze its juice, apply it on your face for 10 minutes and wash. You may keep thin lemon slices on the face where there are freckles. Remove them after 20 minutes and wash the face.
If you feel that lemon has made your skin unusually dry, apply some milk to balance it after using lemon. Milk should be rubbed for a minute and can be washed immediately, if desired.
An excellent home remedy, turmeric has been hailed as a skin remedy since times immemorial. Take ¼ tsp of pure turmeric powder, squeeze fresh lemon into it to make a paste. Apply this paste on your face. Let it be there for 20 minutes and wash your face well with water.
The freckles will become light with regular use.
Papaya can be used alone or in combination with other fruits to lighten freckles. It all depends upon the availability of fruits in your kitchen. Take some papaya pulp, run in a grinder to make paste or grate it fine and use. Apply it on your face as a mask and leave for 15 to 20 minutes. Wash it off, use regularly to see freckles diminishing gradually.
Pineapple can be used in combination with yellow pumpkin and papaya to reduce freckles. You can take equal amounts of all these three, or two of them subject to availability in your kitchen. Mash them into a fine paste and apply this rejuvenating face mask for half an hour. Wash it with fresh water and pat your face dry.
It is an easy to use and easy to obtain product. And what more, milk is a natural cleanser of the skin. It lightens the skin complexion. To reduce freckles take about 75 ml lukewarm milk, a soft cloth of small size or a cotton ball instead of cloth. Dip this cotton in milk and squeeze it gently so that milk is not dripping.
Apply it on your face while rubbing it gently. Dip it again and repeat this procedure three to four times and leave the milk on your face for 10 minutes and wash with fresh water and pat it dry.
