Black is your color and you love that little black dress you bought for a steal. However, dandruff is making it impossible for you to slip into your LBD. Don’t give away the dress to your sibling yet. There’s hope for you. Dandruff is easily treatable with simple herbal remedies. Dandruff is a result of the body shedding dead skin cells. The shedding of dead skin cells is an ongoing process which we do not realize. This is how the skin is replenished and rejuvenated. Dandruff is body’s natural reaction. It is caused by the fungus malassezia that is found mainly on the scalp.
The fungus lives on the fatty oils that are secreted from the hair follicles. However, under peculiar circumstances the fungus starts growing rapidly. As a result of the uncontrolled fungus growth, the skin cells start flaking at a high rate and speed. When the dead skin cells mix with the oil from hair follicles they form large and greasy clumps. This is the dandruff that you will find on your clothes and pillows.
