Bed wetting is a problem faced by some children, though a few adults also live with this embarrassing issue. During daytime there is no problem of urine control, but while asleep these people lose control over their bladder. Usually the children gain control over their bed wetting by the time they reach 6 or 7 years of age, in certain cases it may continue well past that age.

Gooseberry, honey and turmeric can be used as a remedy for bed wetting. Take two de seeded gooseberries, crush them, add a pinch of turmeric powder and one tsp honey. Take it every morning. It will gradually strengthen the urinary system. Gooseberry has no side effects and is completely safe.
This herbal remedy is made by boiling 1 tsp of fennel seeds, a cup each of water and milk, and one tsp of sugar. It is made to boil till it become thick. It should be taken every day till one gains bladder control. It is a completely safe herbal remedy. It can be taken for general health benefits by anybody. Fennel has no side effects.
Black pepper powder can be taken at night before retiring. Mix a pinch of black pepper powder to one tsp of gooseberry pulp and take it at night. It helps in looking after certain types of incontinence.
Black Sesame Seeds
The sesame seeds are considered very effective in treating bladder control disorder like bed wetting. But it is warm in its potency, so it should be taken during spring season or winters, certainly not when the summer clothes are worn and the woolens are stashed away.
Mix equal quantities of black sesame seeds, celery seeds and jaggery. One tsp of this mixture should be given with milk every morning.
Uva Ursi for Bed Wetting
Uva arsi is also known as bear berry, it grows in the cool climes and its leathery leaves are very effective in urinary ailments. It works well for bed wetting if some other herbs are also added to it. A combination of four herbs can be made with bear berry, yarrow, inner white bark of poplar tree and white corn silk. They can be mixed in ratio of 2:1:1:1 and given to the person.
Stinging Nettles for Bed Wetting
It is an effective remedy for bed wetting in children. Additionally, it is helpful in solving the urinary issues of adults as well. Throughout history, stinging nettles has been used as a remedy for bed wetting and for some other ailments.
