Turmeric contains curcumin that has medicinal properties and heals the broken tissues of the skin thereby treating cuts, wounds, skin injuries and infections including that of acne. Like turmeric, aloe vera is a time tried tested and verified treatment for red acne. The herb contains active compounds that have anti-inflammatory actions along with anti-bacterial properties. Fresh gel of ale is considered good for treating and preventing red acne formation.
Rub the gel on the affected areas of the skin and leave to dry for 20 minutes. Wash off using lukewarm water. Repeat treatment thrice a day for clearer complexion.
